My 10th Fanfiction



    You ran around the kitchen franticly in you apron. "Frosting! Where's the frosting!?" Matsuda threw it over your way (also wearing an apron.) "Relax a bit ________-chan! It's just a cake!" You sighed a little. "Yeah... I know, but L's so worked up... I guess he really DOSE need sugar to think..." Picking up the butter knife, you began to ice the newly made chocolate cake with strawberry frosting. "That looks great!" Matsuda excaimed with his usual smile. He took off his apron. "So it's done!?" You smiled big as you placed a huge strawberry ontop."Done!" You smiled wide at your creation. "I hope he likes it!"
    You cut a piece and took it into the main room of the hotel. "Ryuzaki! It's done!" L looked up at you and smiled. "Thank you. I don't know how long I could go without sugar." He took a piece and started to eat. "This is really good..." You jumped up a little inside. "Really!?" L's smile became even bigger as he cut a second piece. "Yes. You should make cake more often." Inside you were doing backflips. It felt amaizing that someone (other than your grandmother) liked your cooking.
    Matsuda ran in and cut himself a piece. "Is it good!? I helped too ya know!" L noded, rather anoyed, and kept on eating. You cut a piece yourself with the others and laughed and joked the rest of work. But when everyone had left, you and Matsuda were stuck with the dishes. "Wow I'm never making a cake again..." Matsuda moaned, scrubing the cake pan. "Clean up can be a hastle, but we did make an awsome cake!" you cheered. His smile seemed to come back up. "We did though!"
    L walked into the kitchen. "________-chan? Can we talk?" "I'll finish up ________" matsuda said, still scrubing the pan. "You go on ahead." You followed L into the bedroom as he locked the door behind you. Your face flushed a light pink as you heard the lock click. "S-something wrong boss?" He smiled a bit. "I wanted to thank you for the cake. It was very delicious. Especily the frosting." You smiled. "Thanks! It was nothing!"
    You waled back over to open the door when you feel him stop your hand from reaching the nob. Your face flushes back to light pink. "B-boss? D-don't you wanna thank Matsuda too" L's emotionlss smile faded into a smirk as he pulled you close. "Let's wait untill he leaves." "W-wait..!?" you ask nervously. "F-for wh-what..!?"
    The handle twists a bit and there's a knock. Matsuda calls out. "You guys ok!?" "We're fine." L replied. "You can leave for tonight." "Ok cool! See you guys tomorow!" You hear him leave. Then, utter silence. L stares down at you with his widend smirk. "You're so cute..." You blush. "What makes you say that..?" He kisses you gently and pulls you close. "You just are." You feel your heart race as you try to break away.
    "W-woah boss! I h-havn't known you for all that long I just-" "You just what? What's wrong? I really like you. Have you never been kissed before?" You look down and nod, your face turning from pink to red. "I don't belive you. Your too pretty to never be kissed." You look up. "Well... Once... B-but I was three..." He stares at you a bit. "Odd... The same thing happened to me... I was five..." He stares into your eyes a bit.
    "She had the prettiest (color) eyes though..." You stare up at him a bit more. "L... L-Lawliet...?" His eyes widen as he covers your mouth. "How did you ever get that name!?" "Y-you t-told it to me! A-at the... You... Y-You're really him...?" He smiles wide. The bigest smile you've ever seen. He holds her even tighter. "________... N-no way...." You laugh a little and hug him tight. "No wonder! You even ate tons of sweets THEN!" He laughs and kisses you gently.
    "You were the girl from Wammy's... But you were..." "Adopted..." you finish. "I still can't belive it's you..." He smiles again and kisses you again. "Well... It's nice to see you again... You're even cuter then last time..." You giggle and hug him again. "I missed you... I guess I just gave up on ever seeing you again..."  "Well... I'm here now..." He smiles and holds you close. "You couldn't even say goodbye... They just hauled you out the door..." Your eyes become teary as you bury your face into his chest. "I know..." He wipes your tears and sits on the bed with you, holdng you close. "How'd you ever end up in the FBI?" "We moved to America after they adopted me... Aperanly the rest of their family lived close to chicago... And... I became an agent caus of all the crime there... What about you...?" "Well..."
    The two of you talk for hours on end, until the clock spins to 2a.m. "It's getting late ________." "Yeah..." you muter sleepily. He smiles and tucks you into the bed, then slides under the covers next to you. You smile. "Thanks..." He holds you a bit. "You go onto sleep... I-" "Don't sleep?" you finish smiling. He smiles wrmly and kisses your forehead. "good night ________-chan." "'Night Lawliet..." you whisper as you close your eyes. And before you passed out, you could hear him whisper, "Thanks for the memories."
